Citizen journalism curated by artists - bringing you news from Jenin Refugee Camp.

Jenin Refugee Camp was formed after the 1948 Nakba. Since then it has become the most consistently attacked place in Palestine. In April 2002 during the 2nd Intifada, the Israelis invaded the camp killing over 54 people, wounding and arresting many others. Over 400 homes were destroyed, and hundreds more were severely damaged

From April 2022 the 20-year anniversary of that invasion, we began to write, film and record the attacks as they continue to intensify.

MAYDAY is the voice from inside the Jenin Refugee Camp.

CREATED BY ARTISTS ON THE FRONTLINE & THE FREEDOM THEATRE

"At the end of the day, we can not stop the wounds inflicted on the hearts of mothers or end the tears we feel for those we lost... but the resistance can and will continue to defend the right to exist in Jenin Refugee Camp"

- Mustafa Sheta, Producer
