ANOTHER DAY:
MESSAGES FROM GAZA
Part of a long-term collaboration between
Theatre For Everybody in Gaza
& AZ Theatre in London.
As Hossam al-Madhoun witnessed genocide, the destruction of his home, and the killing
of his friends and family in Gaza he
began to write.
Penning not just the painful but the absurd, the monotonous and even the funny, Hossam’s extraordinary writing invites us to listen and bear witness “open your eyes, open your heart, and question your humanity”

THEATRE FOR EVERYBODY, GAZA & AZ THEATRE, LONDON
Theatre for Everybody (Gaza) is a community-based theatre group founded in 1987 by Jamal Al Rozzi and Hossam Madhoun, using performance and storytelling to resist cultural erasure, build international solidarity, and channel the resilience through arts of Gaza’s people.
Since 2009, they've collaborated closely with London’s Az Theatre through the Gaza Drama Long Term project, producing plays, workshops, and live arts connections across Gaza and the UK.
With Gaza almost completely closed down by Israel since 2007, artists in Gaza and London have used digital spaces to build a unique collaboration and defy borders.
